The Virginia Beach Sportsplex, managed by Hometown Sports Management, is a multi-sport/multi-use facility located in the heart of Virginia Beach, VA.
Comprised of the Sportsplex Stadium, Sportsplex Field Hockey National Training Center, Sportsplex Criterium, and Sportsplex Athletic Fields, the sports complex provides space and athletic fields for a number of different sports.
The Sportsplex Stadium is a 3-level steel and concrete structure. The Service Level contains ticketing functions, an administration area, a souvenir store, team and officials’ dressing rooms and miscellaneous support spaces. The Concourse Level consists of a broad spectator walkway leading to the lower seating deck, plus concessions and restroom areas. The Club Level leads to the upper seating deck as well as six (6) luxury suites.
The Sportsplex Field Hockey Regional Training Center is America’s most well-known field hockey complex. The center features two artificial turf fields, lighting, locker rooms, parking, an equipment room and concession stand. The facility holds USA Field Hockey events such as the Regional Futures Championship, National Women’s Championship and Multiple other Tournament Championships. The two turfs are routinely used by the Virginia Beach City Public School System and also serves as home to Virginia Wesleyan College Field Hockey. Turf time is available for rent for field hockey events, camps, clinics, and tournaments.
The Sportsplex grounds also contain a considerable sized grass field, volleyball and cornhole sections, and a generous sized cycling loop. These various areas can host events such as BBQ’s, family reunions, corporate events, camps, and training sessions.
